The Rite Of Christian Initiation

The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is a process instituted by the Roman Catholic Church to help those who have never been baptized, or for Christian’s baptized in other faith traditions to become disciples of Jesus Christ in the Catholic Church.

The goal the RCIA is to help adults (and mature children) to grow in their relationship with God, become familiar with the Catholic teachings and practices, get acquainted with people in the parish, and involved in service in the local and wider community.

If you are inquiring about the Catholic Church, would like to be baptized in the Catholic Church, we welcome you and be glad to assist you. The RCIA process will provide the background and understanding you need to by formed in your faith journey. It is not a “course” but a life experience without timelines or schedules. You move forward only when you are personally ready.

If you are a previously baptized Christian looking for full communion with the Catholic Church we look forward to meeting with you. You may benefit from some or all of the RCIA process, or may require formation directed to your specific needs and experiences. We can help you, answer your questions and guide you as you discern God’s call in your life.

Please contact the Parish Office or email / speak directly with the Pastor.

We hope to hear from you soon.
