CHRISTMAS PIE SALE

It is that time of the year again when St. Patrick’s Catholic Women’s League begins to take orders for their Christmas Pies & Crisps. All are $15.00; Varieties: Phubarb pie, Rhubarb Crisp, Apple Pie, Apple Crisp & Pumpkin Pie. The last day to order is November 18th. Order forms can be found at the back of the church or you may call Marg Atkinson @ 613-387-3654 or Mary Robertson @ 613-659-3295. Pick-up dates are December 3rd & 10th.

ADULTS vs. YOUTH BALLGAME

On Sunday, October 1st @ 2 p.m. the adults of the parish will attempt to redeem their baseball skills for the second year by playing against the youth of the parish. all adults are invited to bring along their baseball gloves to participate. Come & enjoy the fun at the baseball diamond in Lansdowne.

LIFE CHAIN

Life Chain is a prayerful and peaceful witness to the sanctity of life from conception to natural death. It is an annual day of public witness for children killed by abortion. On Sunday, October 1st we set aside one hour silently praying and holding a sign to raise awareness of the biggest human rights violation of our time. Brockville’s Life Chain will take place in front of TISS High School on Parkdale Ave. from 2-3 p.m.; In Kingston, following 11 a.m. Mass @ St. Joseph’s Church on Palace Rd. the Life Chain will take place with a pot-luck luncheon following.

HARVEST CEILIDH

On Sunday, October 8th @ 3 p.m., join the talented Moellman family as they share their Celtic-themed music and dancing. It is being hosted by Happy Life Farms, 41 Steacy Rd., Lansdowne. Admission is free. Come & bring a snack to share. There will be a free-will box at the door with the proceeds being directed to the building fund. Please share with family & friends. All are welcome.

FAITH FORMATION

As part of our Faith Formation a four-part series entitled, ‘Presence-The Mystery of the Eucharist’ will be offered at the home of Judith Golob, 99 Grayrock Cres., Gananoque beginning Monday, October 16th @ 7 p.m.. The Mystery of the Eucharist explores the truth and beauty of Christ’s real presence in the Eucharist, from its origins in Sacred Scripture to its profound role in the life of the Church and its members. All are welcome!

CHILDREN’S LITURGY

To see young children at Sunday Mass is a gift to all of us. Morgan Summers has graciously taken up leadership assisted by Dorota Malinowska and Gemma Mangan; volunteers are most welcome!

PILGRIMAGE TO THE

HOLY LAND
